I was looking for something to for my father’s 75th birthday and came across Ladoo. From the very first conversation, the team was organised, thoughtful and incredibly easy to work with. They handled everything, from the interviews to the final book, which made the entire process effortless for our family.
What stood out was how polished and professional the experience felt while still being very personal. When we finally received the book, it became something the whole family gathered around. It's a truly special keepsake.

I found Ladoo while searching for something meaningful to do for my mother’s birthday, and I’m so grateful I did. The team worked at what honestly felt like God speed, but what stood out even more was their warmth and care. They truly went the extra mile to make the experience special for us.
What started as a birthday gift for my mother became something the entire family connected with. Hearing the stories, remembering moments, and finally holding the book in our hands was incredibly emotional for all of us. Ladoo has created something so unique. We feel very lucky to have found them.

Frequently asked questions
What exactly does Ladoo create?
We capture the life stories of your parents or grandparents and turn them into a beautifully written printed book.
It begins with relaxed conversations. We listen, record, and ask the questions families often never get around to asking.
Then our team shapes those memories into a narrative and designs a book your family can keep for generations.
How does the process work?
It’s simple.
We speak with your parent or family member over a few thoughtful interviews. From those conversations, we write and design their story. Once everything is ready, the book is printed and delivered to your family.
You don’t have to manage the process. We take care of it.
How long does the process usually take?
Most Ladoo memoirs take about 3–6 weeks from the first conversation to the printed book.
The timeline mainly depends on scheduling interviews and how quickly materials like photos are shared. We move at a comfortable pace so the storyteller never feels rushed.
My parents aren’t very comfortable being interviewed. Is that a problem?
Not at all.
Most people feel unsure at first. But once the conversation starts, the memories usually begin to flow. Our interviews are relaxed and unhurried. It feels much more like a conversation than an interview.
Will we get to review the writing?
Ladoo is a fully curated storytelling process.
We don’t circulate drafts or revisions during the writing stage. The story is shaped from the interviews and materials shared with us. This allows the narrative to stay natural and cohesive, rather than becoming a heavily edited document.
Will we receive a digital copy of the book?
No.
Ladoo memoirs are designed as physical keepsakes. We intentionally deliver them as printed books rather than digital files. They’re meant to be held, shared at home, and passed down in the family. This book is intended for personal use. If you would like to publish and sell your book or use it for other commercial projects, please let us know during and we will provide details regarding the Commercial Use Package.
Are the stories kept private?
Yes.
The conversations and materials shared with us are treated as private. They are used only to create your book. We never share personal stories publicly unless you explicitly ask us to.
Can we order more copies for family members?
Yes, absolutely.
Many families end up ordering additional copies so siblings or relatives can have their own. Just let us know and we’ll arrange it.
Do I own the book? Can I publish and sell my book?
You have the rights to the book for personal use. If you would like to publish and sell your book or use it for other commercial projects, please let us know and we will provide details for the Commercial Use Package and additional paperwork to transfer the commercial rights to your book, and release Ladoo/ Working Title 52 from legal liability.

"We all are ladoos, made with love, sweetness and a bit of our own elements. Within us are pieces that are colourful and dark, jagged and beautiful and each one tells a tale of where we come from. Shaped carefully to be perfectly round but uniquely different in our own ways."
